World House Wetten

World House Wetten World House Wetten is an international meeting house and conference centre in the countryside near the small ancient town of Wetten, Germany.

Located just 15km from Airport Weeze and 60km from Düsseldorf Airport and with the major cities of Cologne, Amsterdam, The Hague, Brussels, Bonn and many others within 200km the World House offers a central location perfect for meetings, trainings, workshops, seminars and conferences. World House Wetten is built on historical ground; Where once Knight Geraerd Vellars built his castle in the 13th c

entury, the Dominican Sisters built a monastery in 1908. For almost 100 years the life of the monastery and of the community of Wetten was intensively interwoven. Throughout the years the monastery has been updated and expanded several times. Currently the house combines modern, innovative and sustainable design with the already available retro and antique features of the monastery. Spaces are decorated in an international theme with both contemporary and traditional art and handicraft from all over the world. The building is surrounded by a peaceful garden with large areas of open grass, making it a perfect place for group activities and team building in the open air. The foundations of the 13th century castle are a protected monument and hidden in the grounds. In the garden you will also see the organic vegetables and herbs we grow which are served in our restaurant, as well as an old orchard which features an almost extinct and delicious variety of apple which can be picked fresh from the trees between July and October. You can walk through the grounds and the wood, with walnut trees and wild berry bushes all around. World House Wetten offers spacious meeting rooms for different group sizes, hotel rooms, and a hostel room for those on a budget. Our on-site restaurant offers a pleasant ambience to enjoy healthy, reasonably priced food. Though the World House offers conference and meeting facilities we also welcome non-business travellers who are visiting the area.

Mehr Bäume jetzt' verschenkt etwa 1000 Setzlinge von Bäume und Strauchen im Kreis Kleve. Hier ist einen Link zur Voranmeldung für alle Baum-Verschenktage, wo man die gewünschte Bäume und Strauchen auswählen kann.

Die Voranmeldung ist wichtig für die Organisation, damit sie Interessierten informieren können wann und wo sie die ausgewählte Setzlinge von Bäume und Strauchen abholen können.

Das Foto zeigt Paul Bickmann, Regionalkoordinator Kreis Kleve / Niederrhein von 'Mehr Bäume Jetzt' als er die erste Setzlinge von Bäume und Strauchen schon beim World House in Wetten lagert. World House ist einer von mehreren Verteilungspunkten im Kreis Kleve. Am Samstag 9. März zwischen 09:00 und 12:00 können Bäume am World House abgeholt werden. Aber zuerst registrieren mit diesen Voranmeldung, wo auch die übrige Verteilungspunkten im Kreis Kleve angegeben sind.

Wir freuen uns auf Euch!

An zwei Wochenenden im Juni laden 24 Ausstellungsorte zur Landpartie am Niederrhein 2024 rund um "Mein Kevelaer - Wallfahrtsstadt Kevelaer".
Hast du dir den 8. + 9. Juni + 15. + 16. Juni schon 🎨 bunt im Kalender markiert?

Kürzlich trafen sich im Goldenen Löwen in Kevelaer zahlreiche der diesjährigen Gastgeberinnen und Gastgeber. Sie stellten sich gegenseitig ihr Programm vor. Einiges steht schon fest, anderes ist aktuell noch in Planung. Sicher ist: Die neunte Landpartie am Niederrhein wird wieder eine fantastische Gelegenheit für eine inspirierende, kleine Auszeit vom Alltag.

Mit dabei war auch Michael Rütten, Geschäftsstellenleiter Kevelaer des Sponsors Volksbank an der Niers: "Es ist schön zu sehen, wer in diesem Jahr alles dabei sein wird. Ich freue mich schon, wieder selbst mit dem Rad unterwegs zu sein."

Ab sofort verrät der extralange Flyer welche Ausstellungsorte in diesem Jahr mit von der Partie sein werden. Du findest sie ab sofort im Einzelhandel in der Kevelaerer Innenstadt, in den Buchhandlungen in Geldern und Kevelaer sowie in der Tourist Information im Rathaus Kevelaer und im Informationsgebäude am Solegarten St. Jakob.
