Change of check-in times in Hamburg
Starting next weekend, July 8th, 2023, we will shorten our check-in times to 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
This means that we can better plan the loading on site and hopefully give you a smoother start to your journey towards Loerrach.
Do you already have your ticket for a departure in Hamburg from 8.7., we will send you an updated ticket - so you have all the necessary information at a glance.

Änderung der Check-in Zeiten in Hamburg
Ab dem kommenden Wochenende, 8.7.2023, verkürzen wir unsere Check-in Zeiten auf den Zeitraum von 19:00 Uhr bis 21:00 Uhr.
Somit können wir vor Ort die Verladung besser vorplanen und Ihnen hoffentlich einen reibungsloseren Start für Ihre Fahrt Richtung Lörrach ermöglichen.

According to the current status, we will start today's BTE AutoReiseZug journey as planned and hope for a trouble-free journey to the destination terminal in Loerrach.
Should the general weather conditions change or should the DB infrastructure not allow a journey, we will inform all our customers directly.

Our Story

Travel safely and comfortably with your car and motorbike! The BTE AutoReiseZug runs on the route Hamburg - Loerrach (near Basel). With the BTE AutoReiseZug you travel northwards or southwards in comfort and safety overnight: alone, with family or friends in a cosy compartment, with your vehicle and luggage in the transport car. And all of this with no stops for petrol or back seat whinging. Bypass the traffic jams, right on track. And when the sun comes up, you get in your car or on your motorbike, well-rested, to head wherever you please. Loerrach is the ideal starting point if you want to experience unique collection of interesting excursion destinations: the mountains of nearby Switzerland, France and Italy. Starting from Hamburg, there’s Denmark, Norway and Sweden, or the coast of northern Germany with it´s natural splendour and great cities to discover. Picturesque bays, dreamy coastal towns and beautiful lakes are well worth a side trip. And if you’re looking for more diversion: how about Copenhagen, Göteborg or even Stockholm.
