Ever wondered what a tugboat actually does all day?

Port assistance, mooring operations, ice breaking, firefighting, salvage. Our crews handle it all, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in 24 European ports.

Two FAIRPLAY Apprentices on Stage at SMM Hamburg ⚓️

At SMM Hamburg 2026, two of our apprentices took the stage as panel speakers. Christian Elias Drees and Alice von Hintzenstern each spoke on topics that are shaping the future of the maritime industry.

Christian Elias Drees, apprentice ship mechanic with us, joined the panel "Einstieg maritim: Ahoi Zukunft! Die maritime Branche stellt sich vor". He spoke about what it means to start a career in the maritime industry and what that path looks like.

Alice von Hintzenstern, also training as a ship mechanic with us, took part in the panel "Female Empowerment: Wir sind die Branche – Frauen in der maritimen Welt". She was part of a conversation about how women are actively shaping the future of the sector.
We are proud of both of you! Thanks for showing our on stage!
