MAXBERG® Jura Limestone in Lucerne

With the exclusive city villas in Lucerne, a residential ensemble has been created that blends modern architecture, clean lines and natural materials in a remarkable way. The project features our MAXBERG® Jura Limestone in yellow from layer 17, finished in the CASTELLO surface – a fine, disk-textured treatment.

The stone is used both on the façade and throughout the interior. Its warm tones and natural texture create a harmonious overall appearance. Thanks to the expressive character of layer 17 and the CASTELLO finish, the surface reveals subtle shadowing and depth, giving the limestone a refined and sculptural presence.

A striking aspect of the project is its exceptional setting. Overlooking Lake Lucerne, the bright Jura Limestone integrates beautifully into the surrounding alpine landscape. The changing light above the lake and mountains highlights the lively structure of the stone throughout the day. The interplay of architecture, nature and material makes this location truly unique.

One month ago, JMS said goodbye to its old premises in Eichstätt which were home of the company for more than two decades. We say Hello to our new spacious offices in Solnhofen, right at the pulse of where it is all happening: In the heart of the JURA quarry area, just a stone’s throw away from the quarries and factories.
