Another Heavy Hit on the Move!

From the heart of Berlin to the port of Alexandria, Egypt – we just wrapped up a project transport that demanded precision, coordination, and serious lifting power:

1x HP Steam Heater
1436 x 267 x 362 cm
61.5 tons
1x PG Gas Cooler
1278 x 266 x 364 cm
77.3 tons

The journey in a nutshell:
Loaded in Berlin with a crawler crane
Shipped via inland barge to Hamburg Port
Transshipped onto a 50‘ + 40‘ MAFI trailers
Now en route by Ro/Ro Vessel to Alexandria

Big thanks to all partners and crews involved
Teamwork like this makes heavy cargo logistics look easy (even when it’s 77 tons of steel and steam 💥)

Challenging project successfully completed –

We managed the shipment of a large press plant to China – a truly demanding task, as all cargo had to be moved on the same vessel. Our team took care of the entire scope: pickup, consolidation, packaging, stowage, and ocean transport.

With units being loaded and stowed in Hamburg, Antwerp, and Zeebrugge, precise coordination across ports was essential.
The cargo mix included containers and flat-racks, while two oversized cases were shipped as break-bulk on a container vessel.

Thanks to excellent teamwork and close collaboration with our partners, the project was executed smoothly and on time – a great example of complex project logistics in action.

Vessel engines on the move to Southeast Asia
 
Excited to support our customer Everllence Augsburg with the transport of 4 massive ship engines on their way to South Korea:
 
Scope: 2 lots, each with 2 engines
*Each unit: 720 x 260 x 390 cm
*Each weighing in at 48,300 kg
 
The cargo was picked up ex works in Augsburg and transported by lowbed trailers all the way to Hamburg. From there, the engines were loaded
as breakbulk onto a container vessel, heading straight to Korea.
 
Heavy cargo logistics isn’t always easy – but with the right team and planning, even the biggest pieces fit into place.

Smooth ex*****on in project logistics!
 
We recently arranged the shipment of two large propellers including accessories from Hamburg to Shanghai.

Diqmensions:
970 x 930 x 230 cm / 65.600 kgs
910 x 880 x 190 cm / 53.215 kgs

The cargo was handled as break-bulk on a container vessel – a challenge that required precise planning and strong coordination.
Thanks to the great teamwork of everyone involved, everything went seamlessly.
Project logistics at its best – reliable, efficient, and customer-focused.

Major Project Logistics Completed – Germany to Guatemala
 
We successfully managed the transport of a large bottling plant from Germany to Guatemala, a truly complex operation spanning over 150 containersand 10 flat-racks.

Among them were some of our largest units, measuring 988 x 575 x 435 cm and weighing nearly 32 tons.

The final inland transport in Guatemala was particularly challenging due to the oversized dimensions and long distance, requiring careful planning and precise coordination to ensure a safe and efficient delivery.
From pickup and consolidation to stowage, ocean transport, and inland delivery, every step showcased the expertise and dedication of our team.

7WL nimmt Kurs auf die Zukunft

7 Worldwide Logistics (7WL) hat sich neu aufgestellt.

Der Bremer Spezialist für Projektlogistik und Industrial Relocation Projects verstärkt sein Führungsteam und beruft neben Jürgen Weyhausen, Torben Backhaus als weiteren Geschäftsführer,
sowie Lennia Möcker und Alexander Jacob als Einzelprokuristen.

Diese Erweiterung der Geschäftsführung erfolgt mit Blick auf die Zukunft des Unternehmens und spiegelt die Erfordernisse eines erweiterten Managements wider, das sich seit der Gründung Ende 2020 rasant entwickelt hat.
7WL konnte im Jahr 2023 einen Umsatz von knapp EUR 40 Mio. erzielen.

Im Zuge dieser Veränderung wird der Firmensitz von Suhl (Thüringen) nach Bremen verlegt. Damit bekennt sich 7WL klar zum Standort Bremen als etabliertem Sitz für Projektspediteure.

Das Management-Team von 7WL bereitet sich dadurch proaktiv auf die zukünftigen Herausforderungen vor und stellt sich optimal für zukünftiges Wachstum und neue Marktanforderungen auf.

of plant parts to Brazil

Small heads up on our …
After several weeks of waiting due to various commercial questions, we have finally been able to overcome all obstacles and load the first shipments
for the several recipients in Brazil. Over 600 crates in various sizes and weights are now on their way to Antwerp to be loaded into containers under scope.
In the coming weeks we will see a nice increase of machines ready to move incl some nice OOG ones..
First expectation: 25-30 within a very short timeframe… We will keep you posted of course..

Second crane project within a short time and its even bigger...

After a long time of preparation and arrangments loaded another pair of girders at their customer. With a planning timeframe of over 6 months the two cranes with a weight of around 50 tons and a length of about 30 meter each has been moved from factory in Eastern Germany. Within 3 nights of transit the crane arrives safely at their new facility in the center of Germany.
Another example that 7WL is a real expert in the field of crane transport.
