🔵dteq Engineers the Load Out of 1,000 Ton Offshore Structures from Shipyard to Sea
dteq has successfully engineered and supervised the safe load-out of two major offshore components: Two 1,052 metric ton topside and a 1,130 metric ton jacket from the shipyard to open sea.
Both structures required centimeter-level planning: from managing an off-center center of gravity and confined space for SPMT trailer configurations to navigating a slipway edge partially submerged at the waterline.
A custom-built ramp, precise trailer setup, and tailored load-spreading and sea-fastening solutions ensured stability at every stage.
The operation combined:
🔹Roll-on across a sloped slipway
🔹Continuous barge ballast management to maintain trim conditions
🔹Installation of grillage and sea fastening arrangements to secure both structures for the upcoming marine transport
Throughout every critical phase, dteq specialists were on site, coordinating engineering, stability checks, SPMT maneuvers, and barge readiness to ensure safe, efficient and on-schedule ex*****on from load-out to departure.
Over the past 10 years, projects like this have shaped who we are today.
Each challenge has strengthened our expertise, refined our approach, and reinforced our commitment to delivering safe and reliable solutions from the very beginning.
