Canoeing through the peaceful side of Berlin – we explored the Panke in Pankow and it was such a calm and refreshing experience! Some of us came by S-Bahn, some by car, and we paddled our way through greenery, silence, and hidden corners of the city. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a slow day in nature.

A few tips before you go:
• Water levels in Pankow are low in late summer – so plan your trip earlier in the season.
• Be careful of underwater rocks and definitely go with a stable canoe or kayak.
