Keirin are recognised worldwide as the first ever “fixed gear shop” having first opened back in 2004 as a hangout for their messenger mates (all members of Keirin are ex-couriers), selling them coffee, bikes and parts and mending their bikes. They now offer much more and the shop is a treasure trove of rare parts, cycling books and magazines, messenger equipment, rare imported Japanese Keirin fram

es and historical bikes. They still make good coffee and mend bikes though and attract visitors not just from Berlin but from all over the world. (thx to http://www.rollapaluza.de for finding great words for us)
