One of Prague’s most fascinating modern sculptures.

The rotating Kafka Head by Czech artist David Černý consists of 42 independently moving stainless steel layers that continuously transform before your eyes. Standing over 10 meters (33 feet) tall, it perfectly captures the complexity and mystery of Franz Kafka’s work.

You’ll find it at Národní třída, where it has been mesmerizing both locals and visitors since 2014.

Sometimes Prague surprises you not only with centuries of history, but also with extraordinary contemporary art.
