What does user-friendly transport look like in practice? Imagine riding the train home from work and managing the pickup of your bike from a secure storage facility near the station right from your phone. No delays at the terminal, no digging for loose change 💳

Thanks to the new integration between Green Center technology and the PID Lítačka app, it now works just that simply:

1️⃣ A cyclist parks their bike, and the tower prints a ticket with our QR code.
2️⃣ At any point during storage, they scan the code using their phone camera.
3️⃣ If they hold an active long-term PID pass for the given zone, the app automatically applies the benefit, making the first 24 hours of storage completely FREE.
4️⃣ At the bike tower, they simply scan the ticket at our reader, and the system releases the bike immediately – no additional payment needed on-site.

In addition, the system shows commuters real-time tower capacity, payment history, and allows them to download tax receipts directly to their smartphones. 📱

What goes on behind the scenes of a seamless mobile app payment? Behind every simple tap is a precise integration of hardware and software ⚙️

As the technology partner of SYSTEMATICA in the Central Bohemian bicycle tower project for Integrated Transport of the Central Bohemian Region, we contributed to the integration of the payment interface and data management 🤝

Our role in this innovative ecosystem includes:

🔹 Hardware and software for automated payment machines (APM) integrated directly into the bicycle towers.
🔹 Connection to our PMC remote management system, ensuring continuous monitoring and oversight of the technology.
🔹 Implementation of a payment API that communicates reliably with the PID Lítačka app and securely processes transactions.
🔹 Generation and printing of unique QR codes on storage receipts, serving as the key for smartphone pairing and physical bike retrieval.

The result is a robust, secure, and fully online solution that reliably serves thousands of cyclists annually, taking the digitization of urban infrastructure one step further 💻
