Greetings from FDIC in Indianapolis! 🇺🇸

This week has been a busy one - we’ve been part of two trade fairs in Europe: Mountain Planet in Grenoble 🇫🇷 and Euro Wind in Madrid 🇪🇸.

But you can also meet us and our equipment here in the United States. 🔥 Yesterday marked the start of the exhibition part of FDIC International (23-25 April), the premier gathering for Fire and Rescue professionals. If you’re attending, you still have two more days to meet us in person. 🤝

⛏️🧊 Are you curious what climbing in glacier moulins is like? 🇮🇸 Iceland is one of the best destinations for this unique form of ice climbing. 🍋 At the beginning of the year, “Citro” Carlos Logroño Viscasillas headed there, sharing his intense experiences with us.

"As I went down the rope, with the blue fading and the walls getting darker and darker, one thought crossed my mind: We’re descending into hell… but with crampons.” 🤘

⛏️🧊 Zajímá tě, jaké je lezení v ledovcových moulinech? 🇮🇸 Island je jedna z nejlepších destinací na provozování této jedinečné formy ledolezení. 🍋 Na začátku roku se tam vypravil „Citro“ Carlos Logroño Viscasillas, který se s námi podělil o svoje silné zážitky.

"Jak jsem sjížděl po laně a modrá mizela a stěny kolem mě tmavly, probleskla mi hlavou myšlenka: Sestupujeme do pekla… ale s mačkami.“ 🤘

SINGING ROCK vyrábí vybavení pro lezení a výškové práce (úvazky, přilby, karabiny…). V našich výcvikových centrech pro práce ve výškách POLYGON Singing Rock ale také klienty učíme, jak správně a bezpečně naše vybavení používat. 💪🧑‍🎓⬆️

Školíme jednotlivce, firmy i složky IZS. Provoz POLYGONU je nutně spojen s papírováním, komunikací se zákazníky a dalšími organizačními úkony. Právě teď hledáme do Poniklé (okres. Semily, Liberecký kraj) juniorní posilu na administrativní pozici na poloviční úvazek, která se bude podílet na hladkém chodu našeho výcvikového centra. 📱🖥️📝

Spanish climber Enrique Beltran Blasco from the Singing Rock España team has repeated The Full Journey (9b) in Margalef. ✅ This marks the third ascent of the route. 👍

SINGING ROCK lezec Martin Stráník přidal po 17 letech třetí přelez „King‘s Line“ XIb v Labáku. 🤘🥳

Přelez stylem PP se mu povedl ve čtvrtek. Cestě věnoval čtyři návštěvy. Asi před rokem a půl ji zkusil poprvé… Bylo deset stupňů, svítilo a foukalo. Martin mrznul, poprvé to ani nezkrokoval. Podruhé jak přes kopírák: „Zase foukalo, zase jsem mrznul a bouldr nezkrokoval – je těžké ho háknout a jištění není úplně příjemné. Nadlezl jsem to trochu krkolomně přes ‚Boží muka‘, takže jsem si mohl vyzkoušet kroky a osahal chyty na TR.“ Poprvé King‘s Line zkroknul až minulý týden, kdy byla pravá část hrany opět nasvícená. „Konečně jsem to zkrokoval, ale nakonec jsem to stejně vylezl jinak,“ směje se Martin.
