Škoda trolleybuses are officially back in Germany! 🚎 We have just handed over the first two of 52 battery powered vehicles to the city of Esslingen. This delivery marks a proud and historic return to the German market for our electric road transport segment. Before welcoming their first passengers, the new vehicles will undergo test rides in the streets of Esslingen and will join regular service once trial operation is successfully completed.

The new fleet includes ten 12-metre Škoda 32Tr and 42 of our 18-metre articulated Škoda 33Tr models. Passengers will enjoy barrier free boarding, highly comfortable seating, and a modern wireless connection.

Thanks to advanced traction batteries, these vehicles can travel up to 25 kilometres without overhead wires. We are thrilled to support Esslingen on their journey to achieve a fully electric and sustainable public transport network by the end of 2026! ⚡

What a spectacular sight in Brno yesterday! Over the past four years, the city has welcomed 40 modern Škoda 45T trams to its streets. To celebrate this great milestone, Dopravní podnik města Brna organized a unique convoy, sending all 40 of these vehicles parading directly through the city center. 🚈

The numbers behind this modern fleet are truly impressive. Together, they have already driven over 2.5 million kilometers serving the passengers. And when lined up one right behind the other during the event, the entire convoy stretched for an incredible 2 kilometers! 📏

We are heading to Sweden! 🇸🇪

Region Uppsala is building a completely new tram network, and we are glad to be a part of it. We have secured a contract with Transitio to supply up to 38 bidirectional trams that will become the core of their public transport system.

Just like in Tampere in Finland, we are helping to build a new transit system from the ground up. It is an important step for our Nordic expansion and shows that our vehicles can reliably handle northern conditions. ❄️

These 38 meter long and fully low floor trams are designed for passenger comfort. They provide space for 186 passengers with 80 seats, a bright interior, and our modern safety features like an anti-collision system and intelligent speed limiter system.

We thank Region Uppsala and Transitio for their trust and look forward to seeing our trams on Swedish streets. ✨
