Today we say goodbye to a very special member of our team 💙 who is starting a new and beautiful adventure in his life.

Daniel has been with us for the past 3.5 years - stepping into a completely new world compared to what he knew before in Brazil.

What started as a “maybe one year experience” turned into 3.5 years full of memories, growth, and of course our ups and downs, all part of the journey.

During his time with us, he completed his sailing course and got his Day Skipper license, and he even sailed our newest catamaran, Freebird Spirit, down with us from Portugal to Cape Verde.
And one thing is for sure - he put a smile on many of our guests’ faces along the way.

Daniel, thank you for these years with us.
Enjoy your new adventure in Europe explore, learn, and most importantly… enjoy life!

And who knows… maybe one day we’ll see you back on board again.

Margret lying quietly at anchor in the bay of Tarrafal de Monte Trigo, Santo Antão.

This place… honestly, it’s one of the nicest spots in Cape Verde.
No crowds, no rush. Just the ocean, the mountains, and the kindness of the people who live here.
Everything feels slower in the best possible way.
Just breathe. Just be.

We were here in December on a longer trip around some of the most beautiful islands of Cape Verde, together with the most amazing guests.
We’ll share more photos from that journey soon - it’s definitely one of those trips we’ll remember for a long time.
