The only thing better than a bike ride is a bike ride with friends. Abel, Randie, and cycling chefs Ariel and Ricky did the mountain pass to Niceto Pérez across the top of the Sierra del Rosario today. It's a challenge ride, but the views are incredibly rewarding. Kudos to them for tackling the hills with determination, gusto and humor. It was a great way to spend a Sunday.

Havana Bay view from Regla.
The "lanchita" (boat) and Ciclobus (bus) shuttle pedestrians & cyclists between Havana and Casablanca/Habana del Este and Regla. If you're in Regla and literally just miss the boat (like we did on Saturday), then it just takes about 20 minutes to bike around the Bay to CicloCuba, so faster than waiting. The 2nd boat's out of commission at the moment, so the Regla-Old Havana-Casablanca-Old Havana-Regla route takes about an hour instead of 30-minute intervals. Luckily, we caught the boat to Casablanca in the morning, so at least the group got to experience that adventure in one direction.

Finca Vista Hermosa's one of our favorite excursions from Havana. Today's group took the boat across the Bay to Casablanca and made great time. It's a trip that includes 2 saddles - bike and horse. In between they get a tour of the farm, tasting, and finish off with lunch.
