Have you ever ridden an electric bike with the BOSCH motor. It is amazing and the steepest climbs in Costa Rica can be mastered with the turbo mode of the motor.
The distances covered are longer. The range in Eco mode is at least 80 miles and in Turbo mode, at least 30 miles.

What is the best time to start an Electric Mountain Bike tour ?

During the dry season, which runs from December to April, the weather is fine all the time. The paths are dry and the vegetation reveals its secrets. Monkeys and birds are easier to observe. It is an ideal period, but the temperatures rise quickly from midday. Guanacaste, thanks to its dry and warm climate almost all year round, offers a multitude of possibilities for electric Mountain Bike riding. Along the beaches, through the countryside and along the rivers, on the slopes of the Rincon de la Vieja volcano or in the wetlands of Palo Verde, "Electric Bike Costa Rica" and its team will know how to take you on the paths according to your experience.
Thus, to avoid the strong heat and to take advantage of the wild life, we recommend you to book the departure of your excursions as early as possible in the morning. We start, for the early birds, at 6am.

After 3 tough years for all the tourism actors, Electric Bike Costa Rica is happy to present you its new bikes CUBE REACTION MTB and CUBE REACTION HYBRID. Still equipped with the Bosch motor, the bikes now have 650wh batteries for even more exciting rides.
From December 15, 2022, we offer "Discovery/Adventure" trips from PLayas Del Coco.

In day, weekend, week or month packages, we welcome groups of up to 10 people in a charming property and organize day or 2-day excursions to all nearby sites. Rincon de la Vieja, Palo Verde, Playa Conchal, Playa Grande, Volcano Arenal are some of the destinations we offer with electric bikes or hiking with or without a guide.
Accommodation in guest houses, excursions from your accommodation,
transportation to the sites to be explored and immediate technical assistance along the way.
