REACH’s LoRaWAN Gateways support LoRaWAN 1.2 protocol, included an LTE module as controller and Semtech LoRaWAN gateway solution, support different frequency band to be select, i.e. 433/470/868/915/923MHz, can match LoRaWAN regions all around the world. The Gateway support optional Ethernet or LTE or Wifi connection to Internet. Power supply of the gateway could be AC/DC converter or Solar energy optional. While connected the gateway into Internet, users can configure the gateway remote through Internet.

REACH’s LoRaWAN NS Server support LoRaWAN 1.2 protocol, customers can register and manage their LoRaWAN gateway and device on REACH’s server for free, also on demand, REACH can help customer to deploy NS server locally in designated site. Customer’s application can access the NS server with API.

REACH’s LoRaWAN modules support LoRaWAN 1.2 protocol, included LP-MCU and Semtech LoRaWAN solution, support different frequency band to be select, i.e. 433/470/868/915/923MHz, can match LoRaWAN regions all around the world. If the end-node application is simple enough, REACH can support customer to implement their application into internal LP-MCU, which means OPEN CPU mode, then the end-node can save the application MCU.

Recently, REACH AIoT's LoRaWAN solution successfully assisted a leading gas meter manufacturer in deploying and implementing smart gas meters in Somalia, Africa.
REACH AIoT has provided an efficient and reliable LoRaWAN IoT solution for the gas meter manufacturer with its outstanding IoT technology, which has advantages such as long-distance communication, low power consumption, and low cost. It is particularly suitable for IoT devices such as gas meters that require large-scale deployment and wide distribution.
In this case, REACH AIoT provided LoRaWAN modules, LoRaWAN gateways, and assisted in the local deployment of LoRaWAN servers; The smart gas meter of the gas meter manufacturer adopts the LoRaWAN communication solution technology provided by REACH AIoT, combined with advanced sensing technology, cloud computing, and big data technology, to achieve real-time monitoring, data analysis, and remote management of gas consumption. It can provide convenient and safe gas services for local residents in Somalia, Africa through long-distance, stable and reliable data transmission.
In the first phase of the project, two LoRaWAN gateways were used to perfectly cover hundreds of smart gas meters for the entire residential area. Due to the fact that the most suitable communication network solution for smart meter systems is wide area low-power networks, building a LoRaWAN private network is undoubtedly the best solution in Somalia without an NB network. Meanwhile, due to the widespread use of mobile payments in Somalia, it also provides the foundation for payment systems for smart gas meter management.
