Affected by the long Chinese Newy Year holiday and the fact that most production factories will close early, the air freight prices in the second week of January in the past have basically shown an upward trend. But what is strange is that this week, the air freight prices from major Chinese airports to Europe and the United States continue to maintain the low price of last week.

Therefore, if importers need to replenish inventory before the Chinese New Year holiday (from 28th Jan to 04th Feb 2025), it is recommended to seize the rare low air freight prices and sufficient space this week to arrange the shipment of goods.
