First meal in Semporna, we tried local food.
The price is affordable here.
We shared same table with a Muslim family, it’s funny to see how they enjoyed food.
I saw that they all use right hand to fetch food and eat, then there is a kettle for hand washing.
A boy came down to the table and played with a cat. We found that this cat is Chinese traditional breed.
Same with us, foreign cat 🐱
Heard that KFC is different in every country, so we went to take a try first. They have whole chicken wings as fried chicken, but we don’t.

English is not that useful here, body gestures did better job for understanding 🤣🤣

🇲🇾Malaysia| Semporna Same-Bajau

We have 2 days visit to Semporna and had Scuba Diving close to the islands. 🏝
Semporna is a small town near the sea, only need 40mins-1 hour drive, you can see a very beautiful sea scenery. 🌊

Let's talk about the culture, I am a person love to learn culture in different places.
So in the town there live some locals, and Same-Bajau, whom live with the sea. Bajau people live on the boats and they are not allowed to stay in the land for long. But everyone of them can swim and know water very well. They know how to hunt under water, how to live with the huge sea and they are almost all born on the sea.
Stay in Semporna town, you can buy seafood from them in the seafood market starts from every afternoon 2pm to 8pm.
They will leave the town at 8pm,when the ship arrived, they pay RM 2 and get on the borad, then return to where they live---the house build above the sea.
We met a lot of them in town, some child will ask you for money, or the food you holding. Even they don't know you. Some of them make a living by selling some waterproof stuffs, or anything you may need to visit islands--hats, sunglasses,selfie sticks,etc.
They are all sea hunters, so you may see lots of fresh seafood in the seafood market everyday afternoon.
We were there and tried to bargain with Bajau 2 days, we had very wonderful cheap seafood meals at the first night. In order to make money, these Bajaus even learn how to use Chinese to talk about prices with you.
I will share our seafood meals and how we bargain with them later by pics and videos.

I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT DURIAN IS ONE OF THE BEST FOOD IN THE WORLD!!!🥰
Seriously,
When i first tried Durian, I i wanted to spit it out immidiately. It smell like s**t and taste the same, that's what i thought.
After years there were so many ppl keep telling me how good it was. 🤣
When it was in my 18th birthday, my mom held a party for me and we prepared 3 cakes to celebrate in a resturant. One favor was Durian.
So them the party begun, one friend of mine tried to let me taste the Durain cake as she said it was sooooo good, i refused and run, a couple of mates came to catch me together and one of them put that damn cake to my mouth successfully.
OMG
WOW
What the hell was that taste?
Rich aroma came to my mouth and i fell in love with that cake. I cut a small part and finished it alone at the corner.
After that I tried Durian in a positive mind. 🤣
And Malaysia Durian is one of the best in the world!! Especially it's Musang king and black torn.
We can only enjoy the fresh ones in local Malaysia, all these 2 kind we can buy in China are liquid nitrogen，and in high price.

😎So in China the most popular one is Thailand's brand--Monthong! !

The boss is a Chinese(or Malaysian-Chinese), so language is not a gap for us, we enjoyed a lot of Durians in Durian BB shop near Pavilion square.

Musang King tastes great! It has a strong fragrance and a mellow taste, and some even have some slightly bitter, but I prefer the non-bitter ones.
We learned that the production of black tornn is relatively small, and it is not easy to eat locally as well. BUT!! we were lucky to meet one! It tastes a little wine-like, not as sweet as Musang King, but it has a strong durian flavor too.
It was May when we arrived, price as below(Whole one):
D200 Black torn RMB 338
D197 Musang king RMB 170~230
D13 RMB130~150

If you are a Durian lover, visit there in June or July, the price will be even more lower than these!! Boss said will be like 50% or more lower!

Heyyyy I’m back !
I checked my albums, and found that it has been a long time I haven’t took nice photos.
👉Something happened, I still can’t believe that I gave birth to a girl, can you imagine?
So a good news to tell is , a little girl came to my life. 👧
And I believe it’s a gift for us. We will care her, treasure her and make her the happiest girl in the world.
We will work hard for her. 😎
Should we ask for anything back? I don’t think so.
Is that the meaning of life ? Or of parents?
We have no idea, but will love her forever ❤️
