Look at this amazing unit of a snake🐍🥴.

I have to admit that it is hard not to breed her again, but there is just no sense. Who I am going to sell the babys? To tiktok-influencers for 500 bucks? Or German beggars?

Sometimes I wonder why I still bother with this hobby at all, especially when you put as much work into it as I have recently. It’s like what the famous chef Marco Pierre White said: "You’re being judged by people that have less knowledge than you".

I wish I could go back to the start of my career, when there was still a chance to meet some really good people.

Where is all this leading? I don’t know.
The thought that it no longer makes any sense to breed some endangered species for conservation – everything just has to be quick and cheap.

The only solution for me is to continue maintaining a manageable collection of animals of exceptional quality, even if this means that part of my collection will simply die out.

She is going to be 18y old this summer. And I wish she could once again be the mistress of the Surinam jungle, as she was meant to be.
