"Acousence ADC2Pro - absolutely great!
After many years testing various AD Converters we finally have found the
Acousence Adc2pro as to be the perfect AD for our Studio.
For our acoustic music it is absolutely perfect. Not only is the spectral balance perfect (that is also the case on other AD's such as Forsell or Horus), but also the high-end sounds extremly nice, there is a new quality that I never have heard after conversion, exept while listening to the analog source (we mix on a Cadac G Console). Further more the physical integrity is wonderful. With most AD's the "force" of the music after the AD process is decreased just a little bit, compared to the analog source. But not with the Acousence. And the depth of field is there too. Also for the first time, we have with the Acousence a Converter that does not sound clearly better when clocked from the Grimm. It is as good, however different, if the Acousence is master and the Grimm slaves to the Acousence.
A long search came to an end. I can recommend to check the Acousence AD for all that are looking for a great AD converter. There might be other great AD's and nobody tested them all side by side, but for sure the Acousence will be right there in this top leage (and we have tested many AD's, inkl. Forssell, Horus, Universal Audio, EMM's, Lavry Gold, Weiss, Burl Bomber, Lavry Blue).
