The panorama from the Gornergrat 3’089 m, which lies high above the international Swiss tourism hotspot Zermatt, is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world. The unique view of the Matterhorn, the Monte Rosa massif with the highest mountain in Switzerland (Dufourspitze 4’634 m), the second largest glacier in the Alps (Gornergletscher) and 29 mountains that are over 4’000 m high remains forever unforgettable.
