It’s with a heavy but grateful heart that we announce you that Soleil Explorer will take a few years of holidays away from the crowded anchorages ☀️ this year has been a challenge for us as our dear guests were not able to come to us and enjoy their well deserved holiday. For the time being, we’ll go back to the known country of Switzerland to elaborate our next adventure. We’d like to thank all of you who helped us in any way during those past two years. We’ll come back stronger, and we’ll keep you posted! 💙

Soleil Explorer is a project we, Ben & Mathilda, dreamt about for a few years now. Both of us have always been really passionate about travels and water sports, such as surfing and windsurfing. It is actually while both working in a surf shop in Préverenges, Switzerland, that we first met.
We had the opportunity to travel a lot, discover loads of different cultures and work abroad in different surf camps and hotels, and we decided that gathering all that knowledge and giving it back to people in a way would be what would make us truly happy.
That is what Soleil Explorer is all about. We want to give people the opportunity to explore & respect nature and discover new countries while learning or practicing water sports.
HOW? We welcome people on board a beautiful Lagoon 57feet (18meters) catamaran which is lended to us (thanks again to the owner) and take care of them during their stay with us. There are all the toys/gears on board for everybody to have fun and discover the mind-blowing nature surrounding us. From surfboards, windsurfing gears, stand up paddle boards to kitesurfing gears, beginners to expert can definitely have fun. But it is also about relaxing, discovering new cultures and getting off the beaten tourist tracks. Therefore we organize excursions and guide people to the best authentic little restaurants around.
WHERE? Remember this cheesy quote «Focus on the journey, not the destination»? Well, that is pretty much the plan. We are in the Canary Islands from July to the end of October, and we then cross the Atlantic to go to the Caribbean. Next? We will see where the wind blows, the swell is consistent and the lineups are empty. Any recommendations?
