Everything can be constructed very complicated. Butt simple designs look mostly more modern and elegant and are easier to use. – All can be made much simpler without compromising functionality and ease of use. At Avancon we created products more simplified. Even though it's hard work and takes often longer time.
Mostly you have to start without anything known in your head. Just put down the necessary functions and what the customer will be able to do with it.
Of course, you need the knowledge about the materials and the applications. But you must forget, how things were always made that old way.

Let’s talk about modern conveyors. It’s made for transportation of cartons, bins, boxes, trays throughout the total logistics chain. It requires fast throughput as well as accumulation, sortation, storing and handling and shipping. It must work in intralogistics systems like the railway in a marshalling yard. Where comes the power from? Avancon needs only DC current for their ZPC conveyor system.
Avancon uses for their firmware the ASi-bus, a simple and cost-effective programming language for the lowest control level.
Of course, each zone can also be di¬rected by a higher buss-, PLC or EDP-in¬frastructure.

The first and biggest advantage for Avancon is the ideal cabling. There is a black cable for 48 V DC to supply the BLDC motors and a yellow cable for 30.5 V DC to supply the control system, while at the same time data communication between the entire system also takes place via this yellow cable.

All control functions are performed by the Avancon Power Supply unit, which is located in a cross member of the frame construction. This cross member also serves as a cable duct.

In the patented Avancon Conveyor Concept it’s possible to simply press the control boxes and cable connectors onto the cables between the ribs, which are always laid parallel. No screws are used for fastening. This guarantees a very fast assembly and also maintenance.

Avancon is presenting a new way to use their modern conveyor
system for process automation and assembly lines even in combination with
robotics. The renewed Avancon conveyor concept is packed with innovative features and provides the perfect solution to a wide range of production challenges with the Avancon ZPC (zone powered concept).

In production- and assembly-lines, operators – or even robots or in cooperation often work directly at the conveyor lines. As nothing sticks out,
the modern Avancon concept is the perfect solution here. The conveyor, frames are made of anodized aluminum, which are completely closed and smooth like silk. There are also curves available.

Avancon roller conveyors and the use of simple support plates made of hard-foam together build the lean assembly “one piece flow”, based on “lean manufacturing”.
It’s made for one or more operators, which can work in the cell, depending on the required workload and delivery time.

This simple brick makes it a breeze to handle any direction in the flow of a large conveyor system.

On the market you find hundreds of complicated and expensive constructions for any transfer or diverter or corner or switch or cross-section transfer or sorter and so on. – Can you believe it? – Just search the internet.
Look at the Avancon OTU-Brick. You can build tables and/or stripes with it, which have all the same simple construction and height (236 mm). – Similar to Lego.
These are powered by DC-Motors of 48 W and 40KW. –
We deliver also the Power Supply for it? –
Need a controll system (locally, not to be connected to a central Control cabinet?) Of couse, you can get it from us. The small control boxes are assembled under the Alu-Profile, which holds the OTU’s on at stripe.
The OTU-stripes are simple to handle and to replace, like a conveyor roller.
It’s so easy to install at any position you need, - into any existing conveyor lane.

We believe 'autonomous' is a term used to describe the state of self-determination and free will that humans are capable of as rational beings. – Similar works the Avancon conveyor system.
The Avancon ZPC (Zone Powered Conveyor) concept works in zones. That means, each zone works autonomous. It has its cables, its BLDC flat motor, its controls, its photosensor and the drive system all already installed in the zone. – But you don’t see it from outside, becouse it’s hidden inside the closed frame.
The zones communicate with each other and so the whole system works fully automatic/autonomous – without a central control cabinet.
Of course you can control the whole system also from other IT-infra structure, if necessary.
There is no requirement for a central control cabinet. No cable channels are necessary, and no cables are being pulled at the construction site. All works “autonomous”. You will save about 30% of the entire system.
