Freud und Leid einer Filmemacherin in den Malediven – Sabrina reiste für einen Dokumentarfilm für SRF in die Malediven, um dort den Basler Aki Allahgholi bei seiner Arbeit mit der Kamera zu begleiten. Aki forstet Korallenriffe auf. Wie ist es nicht nur aus Spass zu tauchen, sondern mit einem klaren Auftrag? Welche Schwierigkeiten trifft man an und wie laufen solche Filmproduktionen ab?

When you hear St.Helena, the first thing that comes to mind is probably Napoleon, who was exiled here. But the island in the middle of the Atlantic has a lot to offer, historically, scenically and underwater. Mireille recently visited St. Helena and was thrilled by the country and the friendly people and especially by the diverse diving sites including whale sharks and mobulas.🪸

Mireille Dupraz took her first breaths under water in Mauritius at the age of 21. Several years have passed since then. Her meanwhile more than 5000 dives have not only been collected during her 8 years as a diving instructor in Egypt and Mexico, but also at many exciting diving destinations all over the world. Mireille has been working for Dive & Travel for over 15 years.

Humans are the only living beings that can use breathing to create a desired emotional state. In the Relaqua® course, not only breathing, especially pranayama exercises, play a role, but also not breathing - letting the breath be. In the breathing part of yoga, this technique is called Kumbhaka - it does not describe holding the breath willingly, but letting the breath be passive.

Nik Linder lives with his family in Freiburg, Germany, where for many years he helped create the fascination of diving as co-owner of the Tauchcenter Freiburg. His personal passion is to dive as long, as far and as deep as possible with a single breath. As such an apnoea diver, he has been giving speeches to a wide variety of professional and interest groups for several years. We are pleased to welcome Nik for the second time at our Dive Festival.
