A shared day in Genoa, marking the final chapter of an important project for Züst & Bachmeier. 🖼️

As the Van Dyck exhibition at Palazzo Ducale di Genova approached its conclusion, our colleagues came together for a guided visit through the show and a closer look at the work carried out behind the scenes.

Managed by our Fine Art Department, the exhibition brought together more than 50 masterpieces from museums across Europe. Experiencing the completed project together offered a valuable opportunity to share the knowledge, precision and care that shaped every stage of its journey.
The day continued with lunch by the sea — a moment to connect beyond daily operations and celebrate the people and collaboration behind our work.

With the exhibition now closed, the project enters its final phase as our Fine Art team begins dismantling the installation and coordinating the safe return of the artworks.

Working around Lake Como often means navigating narrow roads, restricted access, and properties with challenging access conditions. It also requires flexibility, as client needs evolve throughout the project and last-minute adjustments are often part of the process.

From the careful handling and unpacking of every item to the precise installation of bespoke and design furniture, our specialized team at Züst & Bachmeier ensures that each piece is delivered, assembled, and installed with the care and precision it deserves.

For this delivery, we consolidated newly purchased furniture arriving in multiple batches at our warehouse, managed additional collections, and completed the final delivery in four separate phases according to the client’s timeline.

Based just minutes from Lake Como, our long-standing expertise in the area allows us to support projects in one of Italy’s most iconic settings, combining local knowledge with the highest standards of precision.

From Lugano to Tuscany and back — all in just a few days. 🎵🎶

Last weekend, Colle Val d’Elsa hosted the second edition of the , an event curated by worldwide known producer Rick Rubin. Artists, musicians, and creatives from around the world gathered in the heart of Tuscany for an exclusive event announced only shortly before taking place, with tickets selling out within hours.

For this special occasion, our team managed the dedicated transport of the DJ console from Switzerland to Italy. After collecting and carefully packing the equipment in Lugano, we coordinated the activation of the ATA Carnet in just two days, ensuring smooth customs operations and on-time delivery.

The console was delivered and unpacked directly in Piazza del Duomo, ready for the event on Friday. Once the festival concluded, we returned to collect, repack, and transport the equipment safely back to Switzerland on Monday.

When timing is tight and every detail matters, dedicated logistics make all the difference.

Proud to collaborate once again with the European Cultural Centre for ‘Personal Structures – Confluences’, supporting the transportation and logistics of international projects.

Artists, foundations, galleries, and institutions from around the world converge in Venice to explore the transformations and challenges shaping our time. As part of this international platform, our team at Züst & Bachmeier works behind the scenes to help bring exhibitions to life, connecting continents, communities, and creative visions through seamless logistics.

Among them, a special project from Japan featuring works by Hirohiko Araki, creator of ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’, now on view at Palazzo Bembo. Lithographs, lenticular works, and fine art prints explore the dialogue between manga and contemporary art, following previous stops in San Francisco and Kyoto.

Opening today at , Francesco Clemente – In Between.

Bringing together around 70 works, the retrospective explores the idea of the “in-between”—a space at the intersection of dimensions, places, and worlds.

Our team at Züst & Bachmeier managed the international transportation of the artworks sourced from both American private collections and the artist’s studio and the exhibition’s installation, working side by side with throughout the process. This close collaboration allowed us to support the artist’s vision while ensuring the safe handling and precise placement of each work within the exhibition spaces.
