Meet the ,
also known onboard as the Third Captain.

Already navigating.

Some things simply cannot be learned from a book.
You learn them on the river. Voyage after voyage.
Situation after situation.

Imagine finally becoming good at something...
and choosing to become a beginner again.

At 17, Dominic joined River Advice as a Trainee Sailor.
At 18, curiosity took him somewhere else.

⚙️ Below deck.

Suddenly, the confidence he had built was replaced by unfamiliar systems, technical terminology and people who knew far more than he did.

And that decision?
It eventually helped make him one of the youngest Engineers in our fleet.

🏃 Your 63 kilometres probably won't be an in Târgu Mureș (Romania). It might be changing careers. Moving countries. Earning that qualification. Starting again. Or chasing something that currently feels impossibly far away.

Hotel Manager Molnar Ferencz Laszlo recently completed 63 kilometres.

And his formula isn't particularly glamorous:
