This is Fairmont Le Château Frontenac after dark, lit red and green, steps from the German Christmas Market. No 8-hour flight. Just snow, 17th-century stone, and a hotel that actually feels like Christmas.

The German Market runs Nov 19 - Dec 23, 2026. Booking window is open now — Fairmont has Start Christmas in November 20% off through Dec 3.

was tired of watching smart people book the lowest rate online, only to overspend on breakfast, dinners, and fees once they arrived.
