As we close out the week, we would like to congratulate the newest additions to our flight crew, First Officers Shirin and Pranav, on successfully completing their King Air 200 PPCs today.

Shirin joined Good Spirit Air Service on our ramp team this past winter, where she quickly became a valued member of the operation through her hard work, professionalism, and positive attitude. While she will certainly be missed by our ground crew, we are excited to see her take this next step in her aviation career.

Pranav is a recent graduate of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Commercial Pilot Program. During his time as a student, he worked as an aircraft groomer, often putting in long late night hours to ensure our aircraft were ready for the next day's operations. His dedication and work ethic have helped him reach this milestone.

Their success is a testament to the opportunities that exist within our organization and the commitment they have shown throughout their journey.

A special thank you as well to our training department for their hard work, mentorship, and commitment to developing the next generation of aviation professionals.

Congratulations, Shirin and Pranav. We look forward to watching your careers continue to grow.

Monday morning lineup.

Today, our fleet will transport professionals working in the mining and healthcare industries as well as personnel supporting Saskatchewan’s energy infrastructure to remote communities and project sites across the far north of the province.

These flights represent more than logistics — they support essential industries, critical services, and the people helping drive our province forward.

We are proud to be the bridge that connects these people to these places.

✈️ Today we had the pleasure of welcoming an enthusiastic group of Grade 6 students from St. Michael’s School in Yorkton for a tour of the airport and our facilities as part of an aviation class they are currently taking.

The students came prepared with lots of great questions and a genuine eagerness to learn more about aviation and our daily operations.

Introducing young people to aviation and sharing our passion for the industry is something we truly value. Thank you to the students and staff from St. Michael’s for spending part of your day with us.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup — the biggest sporting event in the world — will bring unprecedented travel demand across Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
For many travelers, the challenge won’t just be attending a match — it will be managing schedules between host cities, avoiding crowded commercial travel, and maximizing time during a busy tournament season.
Whether it’s corporate hospitality, group travel, or flying with family and friends, private charter offers a more flexible and efficient way to move throughout North America during the World Cup.
With our King Air fleet, Good Spirit Air Service can support direct travel to regional and major centers across Canada and the United States — helping passengers avoid lengthy connections, airport congestion, and unnecessary overnight stays.
As demand increases closer to the tournament, early planning will be key. As we prepare for a busy season ahead, we encourage customers to reach out as early as possible to discuss travel plans and availability.

As our deicing season comes to a close, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our customers for their trust and support throughout our first season of operations with our new deicing capabilities.

This milestone would not have been possible without the strong partnerships we’ve built with both our customers and suppliers. Your confidence in our team allowed us to successfully deliver safe, reliable service in demanding winter conditions.

We are proud of what has been accomplished in this inaugural season and look forward to building on this foundation.

Good Spirit Iceman will be back.
