This week, we had the privilege of bringing our children's rides to the 14th Annual Elders Gathering in Pinehouse. A special event dedicated to celebrating culture, community, knowledge, and the Elders who have helped shape and guide generations.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the organizers, volunteers, Elders, and the entire Pinehouse community for welcoming us and allowing us to be a small part of such an important gathering.

Thank you for your hospitality, kindness, and friendship. We are grateful for the opportunity to have been there.

Twenty years ago, Good Spirit Air Service began with a simple goal: to provide safe, reliable air transportation for the people, communities, and industries that depend on it.

What started as a small family-owned aviation company with a single aircraft has grown into a fleet of King Air aircraft supporting customers across North America.

Over the years, we established a northern operating base in Flin Flon, built hangars in Yorkton to support our growing operations, expanded into Saskatoon, developed in-house aircraft maintenance capabilities, and continually invested in our fleet, facilities, and people. Every step has been guided by the same commitment to safety, service, and finding better ways to support our customers and the communities that rely on us.

From supporting mining and exploration projects in the North to transporting healthcare professionals, business travelers, government personnel, and private charter clients, we have had the privilege of connecting people to the places that matter most.

In recent years, that same entrepreneurial spirit led us into a new chapter: aerospace manufacturing. Through our AMO, we have leveraged the years of operational and maintenance experience to develop innovative products for the King Air platform. What began as solutions built for our own operation has evolved into products that now support King Air operators around the world.

Today, as we celebrate 20 years in business, we remain focused on the values that brought us here. While aircraft, facilities, and capabilities have grown, our greatest asset has always been our people. We are incredibly grateful to the managers, pilots, engineers, dispatchers, administrators, and support staff who come to work every day—and to all those who have been part of our journey over the past two decades. Their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence are the foundation of everything we do.

As we close out the week, we would like to congratulate the newest additions to our flight crew, First Officers Shirin and Pranav, on successfully completing their King Air 200 PPCs today.

Shirin joined Good Spirit Air Service on our ramp team this past winter, where she quickly became a valued member of the operation through her hard work, professionalism, and positive attitude. While she will certainly be missed by our ground crew, we are excited to see her take this next step in her aviation career.

Pranav is a recent graduate of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Commercial Pilot Program. During his time as a student, he worked as an aircraft groomer, often putting in long late night hours to ensure our aircraft were ready for the next day's operations. His dedication and work ethic have helped him reach this milestone.

Their success is a testament to the opportunities that exist within our organization and the commitment they have shown throughout their journey.

A special thank you as well to our training department for their hard work, mentorship, and commitment to developing the next generation of aviation professionals.

Congratulations, Shirin and Pranav. We look forward to watching your careers continue to grow.

Core Days brings together industry leaders, government representatives, and Northern communities to discuss the future of responsible resource development in Saskatchewan’s North.

As an aviation partner supporting mining, energy, healthcare, and remote operations across Northern Saskatchewan, we understand the critical importance of connectivity, collaboration, and long-term relationships in the communities we serve.
