Update: Air Tindi will resume scheduled service between Yellowknife and Fort Simpson beginning Monday, July 20, 2026.

With Fort Simpson residents returning home, we look forward to restoring scheduled service and reconnecting the community.

To support residents, families and others travelling during the community’s return, our lowest Super Saver fares between Yellowknife and Fort Simpson will be available for travel between July 20 through July 26, 2026.

The flexible travel options previously announced remain available to customers with existing reservations for travel to or from Fort Simpson up to and including July 31, 2026. Customers may rebook to a future travel date at no cost or cancel for a full refund to the original form of payment.

Update: Air Tindi has extended the cancellation of scheduled flights to and from Fort Simpson up to and including Monday, July 20, 2026.

Our team is closely following updates from Fort Simpson’s local leadership and emergency officials. These updates, along with current operating conditions, are guiding our decisions as we work toward safely restoring service to the community.

We know these disruptions affect residents, families, and travellers who are trying to make plans or return home. In response to the latest developments, customers with existing reservations for travel to or from Fort Simpson up to and including July 31, 2026 may rebook to a future travel date at no cost or cancel for a full refund to the original form of payment.
