Brad Ashcroft earned his pilots licence with the Air Cadets and now instructs cadets interested in learning how to fly gliders. He also flies the RAA Club Plane Cherokee C-GNUC and took Trevor Swain and his family up flying for the first time! The boys were super interested in seeing Brad's photos of the gliders he flies at Brandon Airport - the Air Cadet Glider Program is also offered at Gimli.

Close family members from BC came to visit Ken and Jerry Pennington. They dropped in to Lyncrest Airport and Dave Thiele, one of the pilots that flies the Cherokee Ken and Jerry donated to the RAA, took them up flying on Saturday for an aerial veiw of the area. Over 160 pilots from across Canada are coming to the national COPA Convention at Lyncrest and CYAV so Andrew and Bowen cleaned and polished C-GNUC so she's sparkling. Each pilot takes time to clean her after flying. Thank you Bowen and Andrew. If you'd like your plane cleaned, Bowen will do so for $200
