Captured at Vancouver International Airport, Philippine Airlines Airbus A340-300 RP-C3432 sits beneath the stunning backdrop of British Columbia’s Coast Mountains. Delivered new to PAL in 1997, this aircraft was part of the airline’s long-haul fleet for many years, connecting the Philippines with destinations across North America, Australia, and the Middle East.

Today, the Airbus A340 has largely disappeared from passenger service, making moments like this a reminder of a different chapter in aviation history.

Full Circle on Runway 36…….
There are flights, and then there are milestone flights.

A Flair Boeing 737 MAX 8 rolls out on Runway 36 in Winnipeg on a calm morning arrival, but this landing carried a little extra meaning. At the controls was , returning home to Winnipeg after making the jump from turboprop flying to the flight deck of a jet.

It’s always special to watch someone progress through the ranks of aviation, and even more so when that journey brings them back to where it all began. From flying turboprops to bringing a 737 MAX 8 home to YWG, this rollout marks another chapter in an impressive career.
