Part 1: Railway Fundamentals (4 Weeks)
Learn railway rules, conductor responsibilities, train movements, air brake systems, signals, switches, derails, and radio communication.

Part 2: Advanced Operations (2 Weeks)
Optional advanced certification focused on methods of control, operating rules, and operational documentation.
Part 1 must be completed before enrolling in Part 2.

No shortcut is worth the risk.

GIO Railways reminds everyone to stay safe around railway crossings and tracks this summer.

Always stop where posted signs and signals indicate, stay alert near crossings, never walk or play on railway tracks, and do not trespass on railway property. Tracks, bridges, and railway property can be extremely dangerous, and trains may be closer and quieter than they appear.
