Make the most of the Labour Day long weekend with one last Water Ballet on the harbour! We're giving one lucky winner 4 tickets to the final Water Ballet performance of the season on September 7th.

The Water Ballet is a Victoria tradition dating back to 1993, when our skippers turned their ferries into a choreographed performance inspired by the RCMP Musical Ride. What started as a playful idea became a beloved harbour tradition.

Meet Captain Dave ⛴️🌍
From navigating refrigerated freighters across the world to working in the Arctic and Antarctic, Dave’s life on the water has taken him just about everywhere.
After decades at sea, including time with BC Ferries and even officiating more than 1,000 weddings, he now brings his stories and experience to Victoria Harbour Ferry.
As Dave puts it, he’s “still retired and carrying happy people on happy boats.”
