We use Old Betsy – a full size pickup truck with high sides, and we’re not scared to pile it to the top. Betsy’s box is 4 feet by 8 feet by 5 feet high, so that
works out to…let’s see…16,000 square feet! Just kidding…it’s only 160 square feet, but how much junk can you have accumulated anyway? Keep in mind that Betsy is a pickup truck, so it can’t be 160 square feet of lead bars or Betsy will break and we’ll be sad. Prices
We’re not sure why we said “prices,” because there’s only one flat rate price in Greater Vernon. Instead of charging a little bit for this and a bit more for that, we have one flat rate price for everything! Of course, the Lords of the Dump sometimes demand more tribute for certain things, like refrigeration appliances, beds, and drywall. Damned if we know! Our flat rate for Vernon and Coldstream is $180 per load including everything. That’s it. We don’t add dump fees, mileage and all the sneaky little fees that our evil competitors charge (they might not, but they might…you never know). PS: Be sure to check out the Vernon Landfill Regulations page for things the Lords of the Dump charge extra for, because we WILL have to pass that cost on. In addition to the Greater Vernon and Coldstream areas, we’ll go anywhere within 50 kilometers of Vernon, including Lumby, Armstrong, Westside, and Ottawa. Ok, not Ottawa, but we’re geographically challenged so you might talk us into anything. However, Betsy is thirsty, so we’ll have to charge an extra for trips outside of the Greater Vernon area and within a 50 kilometer radius. Apartment Cleanup
Your tenant, John Filthyshorts, just skipped town and left you with a mess? Yeah, it sucks, but that’s one of the joys of being a landlord, right? Look on the bright side – now you can get in shape shovelling out the place and scrubbing everything for the next tenant! Or, on the off chance you have better things to do, like sticking pins in your eyes, you can call us! Dump Runz offers a special service just for you. We’ll come in, shovel all the junk into bags, and the furniture into the truck, and drive off with it. If you want, we’ll even clean the apartment so it’s ready for the next tenant – who will hopefully take his own stuff when it’s his turn to go! Cost
Same per-load cost for either Betsy or Brute.
$50 per hour per person to collect the garbage and, if desired, clean the apartment (shampoo the carpets, clean the walls, wash the floors, and so on). The only time you’ll pay the hourly rate is if there’s a mess that we have to bag up, OR if you want our cleaning service to get the apartment back to a rentable state. If all you need is the furniture removed but it’s still in place in the apartment, we’ll only charge 1 manhour on top of each load charge. If you have the furniture outside and the garbage bagged and ready to go, there will be no labour charge in addition to the load charge.
