Happy Birthday to Mike!!!

Mike has been part of the Cidel family since he first came on board as a young 14 year old in 1988. When he returned to Cidel in 2008, he became a vital member of the team and he has continued to be a huge asset to Browns Transport in the year since we’ve rebranded Cidel. Mike is knowledgeable and experienced, and brings a positive attitude to work every day. Mike is also an important part of the newspapers we are all fortunate to still be reading, from Oliver to Penticton to Kelowna, to our own Morning Star here in Vernon; Mike has been delivering for the Black Press for many years! Happy Birthday Mike, from all of us! 🎂 🚛

Happy Birthday, Tod! Thank you for years of service to Cidel!

Made this our story but we thought we’d give our followers a chance to wish him their best! Tod has been with Cidel for THIRTY SEVEN years, and made the decision to stick around in our transition to Browns and are we ever thankful. He has always shown he takes pride in his work and in himself - it reflects in his attitude at work and in the quality of work he achieves. Whether moving or packing, when we send Tod to a job we know we are sending the best. Happy Birthday, Tod! Thanks for being such a huge part of our team!

Thank you to our customers, past and present! We were so fortunate to be able to do this for 47 years, and we know that Browns Transport will continue to bring their best every day, just like we did!

Taking over Cidel Moving & Storage earlier this year gave Browns Transport an opportunity to continue a business tradition that has been around Vernon since 1962. Cidel took over City Delivery in 1975, and continued building the reputation that Browns intends to uphold for years to come.

This week, we returned to help move a pair of families that had used Cidel to move in 1995, 2001, 2003 and 2007. Not only did our Professional Movers remember these customers, but they even recalled where they had both moved from in the past(28 years ago!). We are so grateful to have had such a great group of staff join Browns from Cidel!

So, today we would like to send out a thank you; to those who have continued to support our local business this year, and to those who have supported City Delivery/Cidel/Browns for over 60 years!
