AUGUST MARKET STATS ARE OUT! 📊

Wildfire activity had a significant impact on real estate activity across the Okanagan and Shuswap/Revelstoke regions in August, with sales and new listings both lower than last year. Despite the slowdown in activity, single-family benchmark prices increased across the Okanagan, with the region continuing to see varied market conditions.

Here’s a little breakdown:

• Last month's sales were 13.4% fewer than a year before.
• There were 17.9% fewer homes listed than the previous year.
• The benchmark price for single-family homes was $748,400.

JULY MARKET STATS ARE OUT! 📊

The Interior real estate market remained steady in July, with sales closely matching last year's pace and inventory continuing to support balanced market conditions. 🏡 While new listings were lower than a year ago, the market continued to show stability across the region.

Here’s a little breakdown:

• Residential sales were 2.2% lower than a year ago.
• New residential listings were down 12.1% year over year.
• The benchmark price for a single-family home was $1,072,400.
