Vancouver Young Professionals Rotaract Club

We are a group of young professionals based out of Downtown Vancouver, B.C. We bring together like minded people to socialize and have fun.

We meet regularly to run our club, we plan fundraising events, community service events, socials, professional development and networking events. We are a group of young professionals that care deeply about three things: 1) giving back to our communities, 2) building our professional networks, and 3) strengthening our friendships. As part of Rotary International, we leverage their network to suppo

rt our three goals. We meet regularly to socialize, learn, network and organize volunteer/philanthropic projects. Rotaract is an international network of young professionals who cultivate relationships and develop both personally and professionally through local volunteering and international projects. As one of Rotary’s fastest-growing service programs, with more than 200,000 members, 9,000 clubs in almost 180 countries and geographical areas, Rotaract has become a worldwide phenomenon. Our group is growing and we are seeking new members. We are an active, open and welcoming group of people who would love to see you at our next social event, meeting or fundraiser. Pacific Canadian Experience (PACE) officially underway today. Rotaractors from all across the world are welcomed by our Rotaract District 5040 district for 10 days of exploration, memories and excitement !
This morning Ron Suzuki along with Vancouver young professionals rotaractors guided our newly arrived PACE participants for a tour around Vancouvers historic Chinatown and east side of downtown. PACE day 1 wrapped up with a welcome barbecue

A massive thank you to everyone who joined our watch party to cheer on Uruguay vs. Cabo Verde! We had the absolute best Sunday afternoon packed with great friends, juicy burgers, snacks, and drinks. 🍔🇺🇾🇨🇻

Our biggest shoutout and deepest gratitude goes to the wonderful Patricia from Rotary Club of Vancouver. Thank you so much for your incredible kindness in letting us use your beautiful home! That stunning patio and breathtaking mountain view made the entire match day unforgettable. 🙏❤️🏔️We hit the ground running for this World Cup season, and we could not have asked for a better start to the tournament. A massive THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers from VYP who joined in the invasive species removal activity last Saturday! 🙌🌲Together, they headed back into the Acadia Forest to clear invasive English Holly, English Ivy, and Himalayan blackberry, pushing our restoration efforts even further North.The Acadia Forest has a history of disturbance, leaving it as a stalled red alder forest. By removing these invasive species, our team is directly helping to jumpstart the succession of a healthy, mature conifer forest.We appreciate every single one of you who showed up, worked hard, and helped protect our local ecosystem. We couldn’t do this vital work without our amazing community! 💚

Thank you to the Members of Vancouver Young Professioanals Rotaract that were able to donate blood through Canadian Blood Services this month. Our visit to Canadian Blood Services was complimented by a guest speech from a Canadian blood services representative at our May Business meeting.

Nav Canada invited members of VYP to come up into the Vancouver Harbour Control Tower, for a brief tour of ATC operations and to see what all this equipment looks like as it’s being used in action to keep air traffic moving. We had the privilege in March to visit the control tower and learn about aviation safety and traffic management from our gracious hosts.

Our representatives had the privilege of attending the 2025 District 5040 Lower Mainland Foundation Lunch, connecting with inspiring Rotarians and fellow leaders across the district.

It was an honor to meet District Governor Jan, whose leadership and dedication continue to inspire our Rotaract community. 💙
