🏟️⚽️ This week, our co-owner and Director of Marketing, Erika, got to take "working on the road" to a whole new level!

She’s currently in the UK representing Open Doors Travel at the BETA (British Educational Travel Association) Youth & Student Travel Summit 2026, and the trade show was hosted right inside the legendary Liverpool Football Club stadium, Anfield!

Why do we make the trip to the BETA Conference? ✈️🌍

Youth, student, and educational travel is a massive, fast-evolving world. Going to BETA allows us to:

Today’s workshop was “a HUGE HIT!”

Catherine Sews is in Japan leading her Sustainable Fashion Tour, and today they participated in a wax-resist dyeing workshop at Kyo Roketsu Yamamoto, a family-run studio preserving Kyoto’s traditional roketsuzome technique.

Using a brush, paint hot wax directly onto cotton fabric to create your own motifs. Each guest can choose on-site a t-shirt, tote bag or other item to dye and take home on the day.

Keep our travel plans seamlessly moving! You'll manage Google Drive files, work with clients, liaise with travel suppliers, upload rate details, and organize itineraries using cool software like Youli and QBO.

- An eagle-eye attention to detail for proofreading & data entry
- A positive, problem-solving vibe ✨
