We’re glowing in Walt Disney World this week! This might look like a simple girls trip and hey, we do love a good trip with the gals. But this week is so much more than that!

Disney is hosting our agency on an exclusive education program, complete with a private tour of the Disney Wish cruise ship, classroom training directly from Disney, resort tours, and time in the parks learning and refining our strategies.

How did we get so lucky? It’s been two years in the making….
Our agency holds Gold Earmarked Disney Authorized status - the only Gold status travel agency on the west coast of Canada. Glow is celebrating its 2nd anniversary as an independent agency this month, and we earned Gold status the very first year we were eligible. BIG entertainment updates are coming to Disney Cruise Line Alaska sailings this summer, with new Frozen themed experiences, Broadway calibre entertainment, and expanded deck parties about Disney Wonder and Disney Magic.

Select Alaska sailings aboard the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic will feature a full day of Frozen-themed entertainment, including:

Here’s what’s included in your 7 nights:

So how does the discount work?

Disney reduces fares on unsold staterooms after final payment, called “Guaranteed with Restrictions” rates. Families of 4 start from $6,900 CAD, and the trade-off is: Disney assigns your stateroom (Inside category or better). If the experience matters more than which deck you’re on, this is an amazing way to save and make it happen. Gratuities of $448 USD are additional, otherwise all taxes & fees are included in that price. Full payment is due in USD at booking and the reservation is non-changeable, so this is best suited for someone who’s ready to commit soon.

Last night Glow With Me Adventures was honored with an award in front of 2400 colleagues, and hundreds of industry suppliers at the EDGE awards in San Diego.

Whoa, what?! Our small little agency with just 14 agents won a presidents circle award?

👏We sure did.

What an incredible moment it was to walk on that stage and receive an award that others in the travel industry dream of. This award isn’t just about sales numbers - it’s about leadership, commitment, and passion. We have been recognized not only by our clients through our sales numbers, but by our peers.

In addition to our award, we have been invited into the President’s Circle - being recognized as one of Travel Leaders Network’s top agencies. For our agents, this means exclusive training and relationships with our top suppliers. For our clients, this means elevated service and additional benefits for your vacations - exclusive to Presidents Circle agencies.

Now to get sappy for a moment about my personal journey here. Although Glow as a brand has been around for 4.5 years, it was just 2 years ago this month that I opened as a licensed independent agency. In this short time span, we have exceeded all goals. We are Disney Authorized Earmarked GOLD, and now Presidents Circle, and have received an outstanding award from our network that has thousands of agencies. What if I told you that when I opened Glow, it was to escape an agency that to this day, owes me so much money that I could buy a new car? That I still worked - for free - for hundreds of hours to serve clients, knowing I wasn’t ever going to see the commission. That I opened Glow under immense pressure, and had to learn payroll and commission reconciliation, and elaborate paperwork that I had no idea what to do with. That I spent 4 months last summer overridden with anxiety because of the mass amount of cancellations we were having, my earmarked gold dreams being crushed one cancellation after another. We had to pivot, put on our thinking caps, and somehow we rose above and did it. Glow team, we 👏 did 👏 it.

Above all of that, I rose above. I crushed every dream, and it’s just going up up up because it’s our moment and we are glowing ✨

So from the bottom of my heart, thank you to those who believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. Thank you to my team, because this wouldn’t be possible without every single contribution from each of you. Thank you to our clients for their trust, their feedback, their referrals, likes and shares - and every time one of my repeat clients has said “hey I’m going somewhere for one day, happy to book through you if it’ll help your business” - or “I sent a friend your way!” - or “I know you’re busy but I trust your entire team so I’m going to reach out to your agent to help me plan!” - you have no idea what that trust means, no matter how big or small. And thank you to my husband, kids and mom (and my dad too) for their unwavering support and patience over the last couple of years. And in the words of Walt Disney, “we're just getting started”.
