At the South Simcoe Railway, we salute fathers and their role in families, and last year on Fathers' Day we managed to get a quick shot of some of our families who all volunteer together at the Railway. Ride the RABBIT TRANSIT! The Easter Express is leaving the station on April 4th and 5th with fun for everyone! The kids will have a chance to meet the Easter Bunny, there will be contests and prizes, and of course, what would Easter be without some chocolate treats? Walk-in tickets are available both days at the station, but advance reservations are recommended. Advance tickets are limited, and are on sale now at www.southsimcoerailway.ca ... hop to it and get yours before some-bunny else does!

What's cooler than a train ride with Santa?

NOTHING!

But... if the cold and snow of December is a little too cold, then why not come out for a magical ride on the train in the summer? Join us for CHRISTMAS IN JULY - same jolly old soul, same Christmas carols, but no snow and ice!

Christmas in July takes place on the 26th and 27th of July 2025, with four departures daily between 10:30am and 3:00pm. And if you tell Santa what you want for Christmas now, his elves 😉have lots of time to get things ready for December.

OPENING WEEKEND! 🚃🚃🚃 Our 34th season begins with excursions on Sunday May 18th and on Victoria Day, Monday May 19th. Celebrate the warmer weather with a scenic trip through the Beeton Creek valley.
