Ontario has some seriously underrated hiking trails 👀🥾 If you’re craving your next outdoor adventure, check out these 5!

1️⃣Lions Head Lookout, Lions Head
🥾Length: 7.5km
⛰Elevation: 174m
💪Difficulty: Moderate
‼️Tip: From May 15 to October 15 you have to make reservations to park at the trailhead. Reservations open 14 days in advance and do sell out. There’s other options for parking nearby including the Lions Head Arena (reservations are also needed) Theres a shuttle every 30 minutes that takes you to the trailhead!
2️⃣Silent Lake Lookout, Silent Lake Provincial Park, Bancroft
🥾Length: 5.2km
⛰Elevation: 158m
💪Difficulty: Moderate
‼️Tip: Rent a canoe at the park store for a post hike canoe around Silent Lake!
3️⃣Recollect Falls, French River Provincial Park, French River
🥾Length: 3.2km
⛰Elevation: 66m
💪Difficulty: Moderate
‼️Tip: Make sure to visit the visitor centre after your hike! There’s a great museum there that showcases the rich history of the area!
4️⃣Cup & Saucer Trail, Manitoulin Island
🥾Length: 5.5km
⛰Elevation: 147m
💪Difficulty: Moderate
‼️Tip: Head to Gore Bay after your hike and enjoy some refreshments at Split Rail Brewing Co.!
5️⃣The Crack, Killarney Provincial Park, Killarney
🥾Length: 8.6km
🏔️Elevation: 270m
💪Difficulty: Hard
‼️Tip: You must reserve a parking spot at the trailhead. Reservations open 5 days in advance and do sell out!
🐶All these hikes are dog friendly but must be on a leash!
