🌈Landmannalaugar: Located in Iceland’s Highlands, this area is famous for its colourful rhyolite mountains, geothermal hot springs and incredible hiking trails!

🏔️Stokksnes: One of the most dramatic landscapes in Iceland! Think towering mountains, black sand dunes and incredible reflections of Vestrahorn on a calm day!

💦Glymur Waterfall: One of Iceland’s tallest waterfalls, tucked away in a beautiful canyon. The challenging hike to reach the viewpoints is an adventure in itself!

🐧Hafnarhólmi: A small islet beside Borgarfjörður Eystri harbour in East Iceland, famous for its puffin colony! One of the best places to see these adorable birds up close during nesting season!

🌿Nauthúsagil: A hidden gorge in South Iceland with moss-covered walls and a beautiful waterfall tucked inside. Getting to the waterfall involves navigating a rocky streambed, so come prepared for wet and slippery conditions!

⛰️Múlagljúfur Canyon: One of the most breathtaking hikes in South Iceland! Expect towering cliffs, lush green slopes and incredible views of waterfalls cascading into the canyon.

🪨Rauðfeldsgjá Gorge: Hidden in the mountains of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, this narrow gorge feels like stepping into another world. You can venture into the entrance to see the towering moss-covered walls, with extra caution around the slippery rocks.

Canada has SO much to explore! Here are 5 spots that need to be on you Canada bucket list🥹🇨🇦

🏔️Tombstone Territorial Park: Located near Dawson City in the Yukon, this massive park is an outdoor lovers dream! This remote park has stunning mountain views, epic hikes, and one of the most beautiful back country camping sites in the country!

🐧Elliston, Newfoundland: This small town located around 3.5 hours from St. John’s, is famous for its adorable feathered visitors! The Atlantic puffins hang around the area from May-September. Visit the Puffin Viewing Site to see them up close!

🩵Emerald Lake, British Columbia: Located in Yoho National Park, this vibrant lake is surrounded by towering mountains! Have lunch at the lodge or rent a canoe and explore the lake!

🪨Georgian Bay Islands National Park, Ontario: This national park located around 2.5 hours north of Toronto is made up of 63 islands scattered across Georgian Bay. Explore Beausoleil Island by foot or bike, swim along the shoreline and take in some seriously beautiful Canadian Shield scenery. The best part? It’s only accessible by boat!

🦖Drumheller, Alberta: Located in the heart of Alberta’s badlands, Drumheller feels like stepping onto another planet. Explore towering hoodoos, colourful canyons, scenic drives and some of the richest dinosaur fossil beds in the world!

Ontario really knows how to show off this time of year🍂👀

I love exploring here in the fall (it’s my favourite season) And with so many incredible places to explore, my fall bucket list somehow gets longer every year!

Here are 5 places you need to visit this fall!🍁👇

💁🏼‍♀️But first, follow Kathrine Linstrum | Travel | Outdoors | Adventure for more outdoor adventures and realistic travel ideas you can fit around your 9-5!

🍁Awenda Provincial Park, Tiny: Sitting along the shores of Georgian Bay, Awenda has over 2,900 hectares of forest and 31 km of trails to explore. In fall, check out the Wendat Trail around Kettle’s Lake for colourful forest views, or hike the Bluff Trail loop! Make sure to reserve a permit beforehand if visiting on a weekend!

🍁Dorset Lookout Tower, Lake of Bays: One of Ontario’s best fall viewpoints! Climb the 30-metre tower for panoramic views over Lake of Bays and the surrounding forests. If you’re visiting during peak fall colours (Sept. 19–Oct. 25 in 2026 ), advance reservations are required, so make sure to plan ahead! It costs around $19 for one vehicle.

🍁Bruce Peninsula National Park, Tobermory: This is actually my favourite time to visit this area! There’s fewer crowds and the weather is still beautiful! Hike to the Grotto and if you’re brave go for a dip at Indian Head Cove! Head into Tobermory for a more relaxing, quieter experience in town. You still need to make reservations to park at the Grotto (until October 31)

🍁Limberlost Forest & Wildlife Reserve, Huntsville: A hidden gem near Huntsville with 70 km of trails winding through lakes, wetlands and classic Muskoka forest. My favourite hike is the Solitaire Lake Loop, a beautiful trail that takes you around the lake! Admission is also free, making this such a great fall adventure in Muskoka!

🍁Bon Echo, Cloyne: One of Ontario’s most iconic parks, best known for the massive 100-metre-high Mazinaw Rock rising above Mazinaw Lake. In fall, the colourful forest surrounding the lake makes the views even better! Rent kayaks to explore the lake!

This summer was action-packed and although I’m exhausted, I wouldn’t change a thing. So grateful for all the adventures and memories from one of the best summers ever🥹🤍

From road trips and provincial parks, to exploring the Yukon, countless little Ontario adventures, and an unforgettable 2-week road trip around Iceland, I’m so grateful for all the places, adventures and little moments that made this summer so special❤️

I think I’m going to miss this one for a long time🥹
