🕊️ The IAM Union Mourns the Passing of Jocelyne Collett

The IAM Union is saddened by the passing of retired Confidential Secretary Jocelyne Collett, who dedicated 20 years of service to our union in Canada.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, former colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working with her.

Her years of service will be remembered with gratitude and respect.

L’IAM est attristé par le décès de Jocelyne Collett, ancienne secrétaire confidentielle, qui a consacré 20 années de service à notre syndicat au Canada.

Nous offrons nos plus sincères condoléances à sa famille, à ses amis, à ses anciens collègues ainsi qu’à toutes les personnes qui ont eu le privilège de la connaître et de travailler avec elle.

Ses nombreuses années de service resteront gravées dans nos mémoires et seront toujours reconnues avec gratitude et respect.

America’s unions honor the many indigenous communities and cultures that have contributed to the story of the labor movement, and we recognize the struggles and tragedies they have endured.

The IAM is a union for all — This Indigenous Peoples' Day and every day, we recognize the history, cultures and contributions of Indigenous peoples, including the workers who help strengthen our union and our communities.

We also acknowledge the injustices Indigenous communities have endured and their ongoing struggles.

Our solidarity means standing together against discrimination and fighting for good jobs, strong contracts and respect for every worker.

The IAM Union is calling on MPs and Senators to oppose long-term private concessions at Toronto Pearson, Montréal-Trudeau, Vancouver International and Calgary International airports.

Privatizing airport operations could put pressure on fees, services and good union jobs.
