70,000 Avios for a Qsuite between Toronto and Doha - May/June 2027 availability
The Toronto (YYZ) to Doha (DOH) route is operated by Qatar Airways' Airbus A350-1000, featuring the legendary Qsuite Business Class—widely considered one of the most desirable Business Class experiences in the world.
Normally, this itinerary costs 140,000 Qatar Avios one-way in Business Class.
But there is a sweet spot.
On selected off-peak dates, the exact same flight can be booked for just 70,000 Qatar Avios—half the regular price!

If you have one of the many Canadian American Express cards that earns Membership Rewards points, getting the required points can be surprisingly straightforward.
You can transfer:
Amex Membership Rewards → British Airways Avios at a 1:1 ratio
Then, link your British Airways Executive Club account with your Qatar Airways Privilege Club account. This allows you to move and use your Avios as Qatar Avios and book directly through the Qatar Airways website.
