Range Rover, shipped. Here’s the move from pickup to handoff.

High-value vehicles get a condition report at pickup and another at delivery, so what left is what arrives. Same process whether it goes by truck, container, or air.

A prepull is when a trucker pulls your container off the terminal early and holds it at their yard until you’re ready to receive it. The point is to beat the last free day, the date demurrage starts.

You may see a prepull fee, daily yard storage, chassis fees, and demurrage if free time runs out. Rates vary by port and trucker, so ask what the quote includes before the container moves.

We coordinate the prepull so the container is off the terminal on time.

Four pallets, mixed cargo, shipped.

Boxes, totes, and crated freight all arrive at the dock in different packaging. Each pallet gets wrapped, strapped, and labeled so it can be tracked individually from intake to departure.

Land Rover Defender shipped.

Vehicles moving across borders go through a controlled facility: documented at intake, held under customs control, released only when the paperwork clears. That’s the part of a vehicle move people don’t see, and it’s where the details matter most.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Cargopedia team.

To the clients, carriers, and partners we work with across Canada and the USA: thank you for the trust this year. Every shipment we move starts with someone choosing to rely on us, and we don't take that lightly.

Wishing you and yours a warm long weekend. Our team is back Tuesday.

Crated, labeled, and collected from the customer's door.

Not every shipment starts at a warehouse. This one was picked up straight from a driveway, already built into an export crate and tagged with its cutoff date, so it makes the consolidation on time. We coordinate the pickup, the cutoff, and the handoff to the next leg.

BMW M3 shipped. Collected, documented, and delivered the way a high-value vehicle should be.

Every vehicle we move gets a condition report at pickup and another at delivery, so what left is what arrives. Whether it goes by truck, container, or air, the paperwork and the handling follow the same process.

Air freight typically costs 4 to 6 times more than ocean. The trade is time: 1 to 7 days door to door by air, versus 2 to 12 weeks by ocean.

So the question isn't which mode is better. It's what the shipment can afford to wait for. Urgent, high-value, or time-sensitive freight goes by air. Heavy, bulky, or flexible freight goes by sea. We book both.

Powersport units, wrapped, strapped, and ready to move.

Each one is shrink-wrapped, ratchet-strapped to its own pallet, and labeled before it goes into the trailer. Machines like these have exposed bodywork, and the strapping and wrap are what keep them from shifting or scuffing in transit.

Another G63 shipped. Snow on the ground, same process.

Cold weather doesn't change how we handle high-value vehicles: inspected at pickup, secured for transit, tracked until delivery. Condition documented at every handoff, so there are no surprises on arrival.
