Meet some of the people behind Ambercor Shipping Canada and Ambercor Shipping USA!

Project cargo is a people business. Every heavy lift, every oversized shipment and every tight deadline depends on experienced people who know how to plan, adapt and deliver. Here are some of the faces behind our work:

Together they bring many years of experience in project logistics, freight forwarding and customer service. They are the team our customers count on when cargo does not fit in a standard box. And when it does fit in a box, our FCL/LCL team has you covered too!

A single wind turbine blade can be more than 100 metres long, which is longer than a football field.
Large power transformers can weigh several hundred tonnes and often need special heavy-haul trailers, route surveys and police escorts to move by road.
One bridge or utility pole on the route can change the entire transport plan, which is why route surveys are a key part of every major project move.
Large industrial projects can involve hundreds of shipments from suppliers around the world, and every one of them has to arrive in the right order and at the right time.

Ambercor Shipping moves huge tanks in United States

Ambercor Shipping Inc. USA, member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC), successfully executed the international transport of three oversized storage tanks in partnership with fellow WWPC member Origin FGL Lojistik in Türkiye.

The project involved moving two tanks measuring 40 x 4 x 4.3 meters and weighing 90 tons each, along with a third tank measuring 20 x 4.2 x 4.3 meters and weighing 48 tons. After arrival in the U.S., the units were placed in temporary storage until the construction site was ready.

The final delivery to Rochester took place recently in a spectacular heavy‑transport operation, showcasing the precision, coordination, and expertise of both teams. Another successful milestone for WWPC partners delivering complex logistics solutions across continents.

Ambercor USA and Ambercor Canada are pleased to announce our participation in the 24th Annual Worldwide Project Consortium Member Conference, taking place in Marrakesh, Morocco, from October 6–8, 2026.

That’s a wrap! 🎉 Breakbulk Americas was a huge success, and the Ambercor team had a fantastic time in Houston connecting with customers, partners, and industry friends.
The event was a great opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, meet new people, and talk about the exciting opportunities ahead in the project cargo and logistics industry.

Another successful shipment of Slag Pots completed! 🚢💪

Moving oversized and heavy industrial equipment requires careful planning, coordination, and the right expertise. This project involved the transportation of a Slag Pot with impressive dimensions:

⚖️ Weight: 82,672 lbs
