A 14-hour park day with a toddler… and honestly? We crushed it. ✨

We started bright and early at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for a 7:30am rope drop and headed straight to Avatar Flight of Passage, still just as incredible every single time. We took our time soaking in Pandora, then made our way over to Africa for Kilimanjaro Safaris.

We wrapped up our morning with my all-time favorite, Festival of the Lion King, and grabbed the iconic cheeseburger pods from Satu’li Canteen.

Jack had a solid stroller nap (a true Disney win), and then it was off to Disney’s Hollywood Studios where we had our Lightning Lanes stacked all afternoon (and yes… I will help you do this when you book your trip 👀).

We spent a lot of time in Toy Story Land since Jack is Toy Story obsessed, and he was tall enough to ride Slinky Dog Dash which was his all time Fave! He was SO pumped and loved it all. Safe to say… we’ve officially created a theme park kid just like his mom and dad.

I also finally got to watch the new villains show, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After! I had been looking forward to it and it did not disappoint. Such a fun addition!

Dinner at Roundup Rodeo BBQ was such a fun experience, and we ended the night with Fantasmic!

And today’s my birthday, so we’re switching gears with a non-park day! Heading to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for a high tea and then some much-needed pool time.

Normally I go as a Disney adult… but this time things are a little different because we brought Jack, who is almost 3 🥹✨

First full day at Disney ✔️

Seeing Disney through his eyes has been the best part.

My usual priorities have definitely shifted, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Also… I’m usually the one taking a million pictures, and this trip (so far) I barely took any 🙈 will try to do better tomorrow…

Slow morning after our midnight arrival → Mickey waffles → Magic Kingdom rides in Fantasyland + Tomorrowland

Lunch at Casey’s (corn dog nuggets = 10/10 🌭), stroller nap (bless 🙌), little shop break, then back to the resort to recharge.

Round 2 at Magic Kingdom for the Starlight Parade ✨, a few Frontierland rides, and Happily Ever After… which Jack LOVED

And we got to meet Jack’s best pal Mickey (core memory unlocked).

Tomorrow = resort day 💛 character breakfast + swimming!

Takeaways so far:
• Jungle Cruise is still elite with a funny Skipper 😂
• Skip Magic Carpets at night… not worth it
• After fireworks → cut through the Emporium = lifesaver (I do this every time and it never fails me)

Also… 2027 Disney dates just dropped 👀✨
