We're The Puzzle Nerds. We love puzzles! Over the past year we've discovered that so many of our friends and family are also big jigsaw puzzle lovers. It just took a few months stuck indoors for us all to realize it. Our goal is to seek out and stock some of the most delightful and engaging jigsaw puzzles that will keep you entertained and immersed ... piece by piece, puzzle by puzzle.

Exciting Changes Are Happening!

We have some exciting news to share! Our business is growing, and we’re moving our online store inventory to a new warehouse.⁠

To make the move happen smoothly, we’ll be pausing shipping for a couple of of days while we transfer and organize our puzzle inventory. We know there's nothing quite like the anticipation of receiving your next puzzle, so we truly appreciate your understanding during this transition.

Some other good news? Our Toronto store location isn’t changing! You’ll still be able to visit us at the same shop you know and love.⁠

We will be closing the shop early today at 3 pm and will be closed all day tomorrow, Sept 14. However, you can continue ordering online as usual. All orders received before today will ship out on Tuesday. Any orders received today and beyond will ship on Wednesday or Thursday. ⁠

We're looking for a friendly, organized, and puzzle-loving go-getter to join our small (but mighty!) team.⁠
If you're someone who enjoys helping customers, takes initiative, loves solving problems, and can work independently, we'd love to hear from you.⁠
⁠
What you'll be doing:⁠
⁠
• Greeting and assisting customers in our retail store⁠
• Picking, packing, and shipping online orders⁠
• Receiving, pricing, and organizing incoming inventory⁠
• Answering customer emails and phone inquiries⁠
• Merchandising products and keeping the store looking great⁠
• Opening and closing the store⁠
• Monitoring and maintaining inventory⁠
⁠
We're looking for someone who:⁠
⁠
• Has previous retail or customer service experience⁠
• Has a passion for puzzles⁠
• Enjoys interacting with people and providing exceptional customer service⁠
• Is confident working independently and managing priorities without supervision⁠
• Has excellent problem-solving skills and takes initiative⁠
• Is comfortable using computers (knowledge of Excel an asset) and learning new software⁠
• Has experience with Shopify (an asset)⁠
• Is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to help grow a small business⁠
⁠
Position details:⁠
⁠
• 20–24 hours per week⁠
• Weekday and weekend shifts (shifts vary from 5-8 hrs)⁠
• Please note the role includes bending, lifting up to approximately 30 lbs, using a rolling ladder, and the use of stairs throughout the shift⁠
• Start date: late August / early September⁠
⁠
