An elderly lady asked me to take this out of her way today. She was very sad to see it go 😢 as I’m sure it holds a lot of memories for her. I didn’t charge her. My reasoning is I can probably make my 1hr minimum P&D charge off of it & then she doesn’t know it yet, but anything above my 1hr will be hers. That’s just how I roll. Hoping she comes out ahead on this 😊
Yes it’s 51 years old. Yes it has 51 years of wear and tear on it. Yes it’s got some beauty marks. But let’s face it - they just don’t make solid furniture like this anymore. Sure you could probably go to Ikea or Jysk and get something more modern looking for the same price, but in 51 years that piece is probably going to be long turfed under at the land fill. This piece would survive being shoved hard into a guy breaking into your house and would make him think twice about proceeding AND castrate him at the same time 🤣
