The Highway 3 Twinning Development Association would like to recognize David Wilks for his years of leadership, advocacy, and unwavering support of the Highway 3 Twinning movement.

As the former Mayor of Sparwood and President of the BC Highway 3 Twinning Coalition, David has been a passionate and dedicated advocate for safer transportation infrastructure, stronger regional connectivity, and economic growth along the Highway 3 corridor. His voice, leadership, and collaboration have helped keep the importance of twinning Highway 3 front and centre for communities across British Columbia and Alberta.

As David steps down and begins his retirement, we want to extend our sincere gratitude for his years of public service and commitment to this important initiative. His advocacy and partnership have made a lasting impact on our Association and the many communities connected by Highway 3.
