When a 40-ton humpback whale launches out of the water, you feel it in your chest. πŸ‹πŸ’¦ The splash echoes across the bay, and everyone on board just stares in awe β€” some cheering, some too stunned to speak.

Moments like this are why we do what we do. 🚀🌊

Ever seen an orca stand tall in the water like this? πŸ³πŸ‘€
That’s called spyhopping β€” when an orca rises vertically, poking its head above the surface to take a look around.

Watching a spyhop in person is one of those moments that stops you in your tracks. The ocean goes quiet, the orca rises higher and higher, and for a few magical seconds you’re eye to eye with one of the ocean’s most intelligent predators.

These are the moments that make whale watching unforgettable. 🚀🌊

Wildlife days don’t get better than this. πŸ³πŸ¦…πŸ¦ Orcas slicing through the waves, a bald eagle standing guard on the shoreline, and sea lions barking and splashing like they own the place.

This is BC’s wild side β€” raw, beautiful, and unforgettable. 🚀🌊

3:30 p.m. 20th September 2025 White Rock sea tours Andrew and Simon assisted in the rescue of four people from the water of Mud Bay after they we're having difficulty on their paddle board and kayaks. The sound of sirens alerted staff to the possibility of an emergency near Crescent Beach. Staff was informed by a local resident that a paddle boarder was in distress and could be seen from Blackie spit. Staff headed out in our vessel Spartan 01 right away. Upon reaching Crescent Beach a large amount of Emergency Services were on shore and a radio call to our vessel from them indicated the location of the people in distress. We made our way to the persons in the water and took them on board treated them for hypothermia updated Coast Guard radio and transported back to the marina where we were met by Emergency Services. Canadian Coast Guard hovercraft Moytel was on Route and stood down by the rescue coordination Center . No injuries were sustained and all went on their way after being released by BC ambulance. All were wearing life jackets but had not anticipated the current or the wind effect on their watercraft. These effects can be strong in the area and we caution recreational paddlers to ensure they check the weather dress appropriately and bring the necessary Emergency Equipment. Thanks to everyone that participated in the successful conclusion of this emergency.

A powerful contrast: orcas gliding through the islands, framed by the shadowed coastline and towering evergreens. 🌲

There’s something timeless about this view β€” the wild ocean meeting the wild forest, a reminder of how raw and beautiful British Columbia truly is.

Every trip offers its own story, but moments like this feel almost cinematic. πŸŽ₯✨
